Day 22 - The Moose is Loose
I painted a moose today! This was my first ever moose, so, it was an interesting challenge... 4 days of roosters (I almost typed moosters... funny..) and I was ready for something new... Although I really did enjoy painting all of the roosters. My favorite was definitely the last one. Something about the colors and composition. Anyway, thanks to my cousin Jean for suggesting I paint a moose with a red background. It was a fun painting to paint and I am getting ready to do another painting all about the color red, so it was a good precursor to this project.

Wonderful piece, I think you captured the expression so well. Very timely for me to hear you talking about painting red (a local art group I am in has a monthly challenge and February's is "red").
