Karen: I strive to capture the unique personalities of animals ranging from blackbirds to elephants and fauna of any size and stripe in between and my passion is to create whimsical yet familiar imagery designed to make you smile. My favorite method of oil painting is alla prima as I love spontaneous and expressive brush work. I currently live and paint in beautiful SE Pennsylvania with my husband Kevin, children Meilea and Rowan and my wayward rescue hound, Ember.
